After Graduation I began UBC Arts and continued swimming. I swam in the 1980 Para-Olympics. I swam Nationals two more years then quit . I missed competing and transfered to winter games where I raced the downhill and giant slalom for Blind women throughout my undergrad years. I completed my Master's in Medical Social Work and graduated 1986. I specialized 10 years ago in acute psychiatry and work on a secure unit with 8 psychiatrists in the Fraser Health Authority. I married in 1986 and after an 18 year marriage divorced. I remarried in July 2007. My daughter Kim lives with us full time and we are a busy family in club and school volleyball and her rep softball training and tournaments. Connor lives in residence at UBC and is busy at school and coaching U16 boys volleyball. My vision has continued to deteriorate and I see very little now. Some of the pictures I get my daughter to post you may see my current seeing eye dog, he is a 100 pound sheppard named Kyber.
